Lower Peirce Reservoir

Lakeside spinning for fresh water fish is available at the Lower Peirce Reservoir at Upper Thomson Road opposite Sembawang Hills Estate. There you can enjoy the sport of fly-fishing, too. So bring along your fishing tackle and artificial bait or lure, as they call it, and cast from the designated Fishing Ground. No live is bait allowed. Peacock bass is the favourite game fish there. It's a predator that will hit your line with a burst of energy! Occasionally, a haruan or snakehead will take your lure if it's jigged vigorously to imitate a runaway or escaping baitfish.
